Description

U.S. Geological Survey, EROS Data Center, Sioux Falls, SD has a requirement for a contractor to provide independent technical support services to generate index data for aerial photography and satellite imagery held at the USGS EROS Data center. Project A, Line Item One (1) requires generation of index records and title annotation for individual frames representing the geographic area of each individual frame for single frame referencing. Estimated minimum of 18,750 to estimated maximum of 95,000 photographs. Project B, Line Item Two (2), involves developing a method and generation of the four corner and center point latitude and longitude coordinates of individual photographs represented on a mosaic or map-line plot. Approximately 170,000 frames of satellite photographs. Requirement is for one (1) base year and four (4) option years, pending the availability of funds. Work shall be performed on the contractor's premises with contractor personnel and contractor equipment. Delivery is FOB Destination to the EROS Data Center. Issue date is planned on or about December 6, 2000 with closing approximately thirty (30) days thereafter. Telephone requests will not be accepted. NAIC code is 541519. This will be a Commercial Items contract, 100% Small Business Set-Aside. See Note 1.
