Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Utah National Guard will be issuing a solicitation for the construction of a new Aircraft Maintenance Complex located at the Utah Air National Guard Base, Salt Lake City, Utah. The building will have 38,500 square feet of floor space in two stories. It will be of structural steel construction, with steel floor and roof joists, metal decking, concrete floors with brick, metal siding, stucco veneer and metal roofing. Gas fired HVAC with air handler, boiler and hot water heating with VAV boxes. Included in the complex is the construction of a 4,000 square foot office with concrete footings and floor, metal walls, siding, roofing. The remodel of two hangars and a general purpose shop (total of 72,189 square feet) will be included. Three buildings totaling 10,804 square feet will be demolished under this contract. Additionally, new asphalt roads, parking areas, curb and gutter, sidewalk, storm drainage system together with landscaping, gas, water and electric utilities will be included. Additional information concerning the project will be detailed in the formal solicitation notice in this publication. This award is being issue pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, all responsible firms may submit an offer which will be considered. Women owned, small and small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to participate. Magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The performance period is 900 calendar days.
