Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice for Solicitation No. 00SI100817 is currently available. Please note that this requirement is a HUBZone set-aside. We will issue the solicitation on or about January 16, 2001. The estimated price range of the work is between $250,000 and $500,000. Copies of solicitation will be available for downloading at the Pacific Northwest's website at www.pn.usbr.gov/contracts. No paper copies or CD-ROMs will be provided. The work to be performed is at Arrowrock Dam, located 27 miles east of Boise, Idaho. The principal components of the work to be performed include establishing a detour on a Forest Service public road, gravel surfacing, saw cutting and removing existing concrete and concrete masonry unit structure, removing and reinstalling lamp post on right abutment of bridge, earthwork for and construction of bridges, including furnishing and placing concrete abutments and precast voided bridge slabs, precast girders and curbs, furnishing and installing stairway with hand railing and platforms, dismantling and reassembling large movable gantry crane, and furnishing and installing minor electrical work required for the completed construction. Reclamation will publish this solicitation in the Adobe Acrobat .pdf format via the Internet on or about January 16, 2001. Interested bidders will need to download the solicitation from our website, at www.pn.usbr.gov/contracts. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted on the website and it is the bidder's responsibility to check the website daily for any posted amendments to the solicitation. Reclamation reserves the right to revert to hard copy, CD-ROM, or faxed documents should the website become inoperable. A planholders list of contractors who've expressed interest in the requirement will be posted on the website as well. No hard copies or faxed copies of this list will be provided. If you wish to have your firm included on the planholders list, send an e-mail request including your firm's name, address, phone, fax, and email address to dlarrondo@pn.usbr.gov. Requests should reference Solicitation No. 01SI100817. We anticipate posting the solicitation on January 16, 2001, but all dates are subject to change.
