Description

Description of Project: The work to be performed will include all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the Renovation of the Transportation Facility, Building 870 at Malmstrom AFB Montana. Work elements to include but not limited to such work as Selective Demolition; Site Work; Asbestos & Lead Base Paint Abatement; Concrete Work; Masonry Type Work; Metal Work; Wood & Plastic Work; Thermal & Moisture Protection; Door, Windows, and Carpet; Finishes to include Painting & Powder Coating; Mechanical; and Electrical to include Fluorescent Lighting and Fire Alarms. Anticipated awarded contract will be a Firm Fixed Contract consisting of a 300 calendar day performance. The solicitation will contain both lump sum and estimated quantity CLIN'S and one possible optional proposal item. Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 2 January 2001. Proposal Closing will be on or about 2 February 2001. The anticipated contract will be awarded on a Price Performance Trade-Off basis. The acquisition is open competition for large and small businesss in accordance with the Small Business Compettive Demonstration Program. Solicitation package WILL ONLY be available via the Internet at either of the following sites http://198.49.121.140 or http://FedBizOpps.gov No list of protential proposers will be maintained by the Contracting Office. Potential Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award (See Internet site http://ccr.edi.disa.mil/ccragent/plsql/ccr.welcome). All responible sources may submit an offor, which shall be considered by the agency. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 23320. Size Standard is $27.5
