CONSOLIDATION OF EXISTING SCHEDULES/SOLICITATIONS. GSA is issuing a refreshed solicitation effective 12/1/00 electronically only. Interested parties may access the solicitation at: http://www.fedbizops.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading the solicitation files. Search using Solicitation Number 7FXP-D4-01-0539-B (include the dashes). On October 1, 2000, the 25 Multiple Award Schedules of the General Products Center were consolidated into a single Schedule. The Schedule is entitled "539 -- Solutions and More (SAM); Your Source for Recreational, Hospitality, Law Enforcement, Facilities, Industrial and Environmental Services and Products." On October 1, 2000, Solicitation 7FXP-D4-01-0539-B, entitled as shown above, was issued to replace standing solicitations for: 19 I, Marine Craft & Equipment; 23 I, Wheel & Track Vehicles; 39 II A, Material Handling Equipment; 42 I B, Fire-fighting & Rescue Equipment; 46 I A, Water Purification & Sewer Treatment Equipment; 49 I, Automotive Maintenance & Repair Shop Equipment; 54 II B, Prefabricated Structures; 54 III, Above Ground Storage Tanks; 56 IV A, Construction & Building Materials; 61 V, Power Distribution Equipment; Generators, & Batteries; 62 II, Solar Energy Systems & Lighting Products; 63 I, Alarm & Signal Systems; 68 VI B, Chemicals & Chemical Products; 72 VII B, Recycling Collection Containers & Specialty Waste Receptacles; 73 III, Food Service Equipment; 77 III, Musical Instruments, Audio & Video Equipment; 78 I A, Athletic Clothing & Recreational Equipment; 78 I C, Park & Outdoor Recreational Equipment; 78 I D, Indoor/Outdoor Store; 79 I B, Cleaning Equipment & Supplies; 84 II B, Special Purpose Clothing; 84 VI A, Law Enforcement & Security Equipment; 85 II A, Toiletries, Personal Care Items, & Bed Linens; 99 IV, Signs & Display Systems; and 99 VI A, Trophies, Awards & Promotional Items. At the same time, the Introduction of New Products (INP) Special Item Number (SIN) was revised to read "SIN xxx-99, Introduction of New Products/Services (INPS). The basic solicitation includes clauses, which must be completed and returned by all offerors. The basic solicitation has 29 attachments. Attachments 1-25 are product/services attachments, Attachment 26 addresses small business subcontracting/plan, Attachment 27 addresses commercial services subject to the Service Contract Act, Attachment 28 is Reserved for future use, and Attachment 29 contains full text of clauses incorporated by reference. Offers must also complete and return all attachments applicable to the product/services, which they intend to offer, with the exception of Attachment 29. Attachment 29 should not be returned. This is a standing solicitation with no closing date for receipt of offers. This solicitation will remain in effect until it is replaced by an refreshed solicitation. The Federal Supply Schedule period is continuous, and will contain contracts with periods that commence on the date of award (DOA) and expire five years (exclusive of any options) from the DOA unless further extended pursuant to any option to extend the term of the contract, or cancelled sooner. This solicitation contains an option clause, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (Evergreen), which allows the Government to extend the contract three additional five-year periods, not to exceed a total of twenty years. All contracts will be indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contracts with $2500 guaranteed minimum for the contract period. All contracts to be awarded include Industrial Funding provisions. The Trade Agreements clause applies to this solicitation. Small Business Set-Aside provisions will be addressed in the individual product/services attachments to the solicitation. We actively solicit offers from 8(a) firms for the products/services found under this MAS solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
