Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to procure, on a sole source basis, the services of Dailey & Obrien, Inc., 10708 Weymouth Street, Garrett Park, MD 20899 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Only one source reasonably available. The Contractor will be responsible for all phases of training, mediation, and strategic resolution plans. This is a follow on project where Dailey and Obrien, Inc. has been involved in all of the areas mentioned. Award to another source would result in substantial duplication of cost that the Government would not recover through competition and would create unacceptable delays in fulfulling NIST's mission requirements. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order will be issued. The Period of Performance is from December 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competition. However, the Government will consider all responses received by the closing date. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A solicitation is not available.
