Description

The US Army Robert Morris, Acquisition Center, Natick has a requirement for 1,141 Strap, Webbing Parachute Release, NSN: 5340-00-040-8219. The Government anticipates this acquisition will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price type purchase order. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Small Business Size Standard by NAICS Industry is 314999, with a size standard of 500 employees. The Strap Webbing has the following characteristics: Polyamide Nylon Mil-W-27657 TY 3, 132.000 Nominal Length; 1.000 inch. Nominal Width; natural color, end type folded and plain; fold type loose, attachment method sewed; Special Features: folded end 11.000 inch large left end 3 ply thickness sections, 25.5000 and 51.000 inch from folded end 10.500 inch length secured by webbing collars at their right ends, used as Strap Parachute Release, supplied with 3 knives No.65C1630. A best value source selection will be based on the offeror's proposed price and past performance in that order of importance. A one-page past performance sheet shall be submitted with the quote listing at least three recent (past two years) references for the same or a similar item. The past performance sheet must contain a point of contact for each order/contract number, a current telephone and fax number. There will be First Piece Random Lot Inspection on two strap webbing parachute releases; the strap webbing will not be destroyed in testing. Delivery of the Webbing Parachute Release will be F.O.B destination with all 1,141 shipped to New Cumberland, PA. Quotes are due no later than 12 December 2000, to be received by 3:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.
