NSN: 6650-01-180-5273, PN: 13079159, Quantity: 100 each for base with a 100% option for 2 years, applicable to the TADS. F.O.B. Origin with delivery to Orlando, FL. Litton Systems Inc., Laser Systems Div., 2787 S Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka, FL 32703-2010. Due to the urgency, we intend to release the solicitation immediately and do not intend to allow a 30 day period for receipt of proposals; therefore, companies are encouraged to express their interest immediately. Required delivery is 50 each 180 days after contract award and 50 each per month until contract completion. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. For the base quantity justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-2, "Unusual and Compelling Urgency". For the two year option, justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1,"Only One Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Soources".Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CSL or SAR information.
