Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0041 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 and DCN 20001025. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 511210 and the size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for the following Software Maintenance Components, to include one year of maintenance: Algor Inc. BRAND NAME ONLY- CLIN 0001 4 Each #4460-WIN ACIS Import Extenders CLIN 0002-4 each #6015-WIN GAP/Cable Elements for Linear Stress Analysis CLIN 0003-4 EACH #6080-WIN Internal Forces Calculators CLIN 0004-4 each #8537-WIN Element Extender Accupak Kinematic CLIN-0005 #8560-WIN 4 Each Analysis extender CLIN-0006 #8570-WIN 4 each Composite Material Extender CLIN-0007 #8590-WIN 4 each Integrator Extender CLIN 0008- 4 each #8593 WIN INCAD pro/Engineer CLIN-0009 #8632-WIN 4 Each INCAD Plus/Solid Edge Mech/MVE. Each quote should contain the credit to be afforded the Government for the "trade-in" of 4 each existing single user licenses in return for a single 4 user network license. Delivery is required F.o.B. Destination for the period 11-01-2000 through and including 10/31/2001. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane, IN. Selection for award will be based on past performance and net price for the Brand Name Software Maintenance specified, including the trade-in credits. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
