Description

This is a notice of intent to award sole source to West Group, 610 Opperman Drive, St Paul, MN 55164-1803, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.501 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This purchase is being made using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items. Solicitation number F01600-01-T-0018 is issued as a proposed contract action for supplies for which the government intends to solicit with only one source under the authority of the test program for commercial items (section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However all responses received within seven days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The National American Industrial Classification System Code is 334611 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The requirement consists of the 2 line items. 0001-USCA CD-ROM, 2001 Update: Qty 6 ea. 0002-USCA, Subscription Service 2001 Update: Qty 140 ea.
