- Description
- The AIDS Associated Malignancies Clinical Trials Consortium (AMC) is soliciting specialized expertise to identify, develop and validate clinically practical tools for assessing the biological effects of targeted agents against KS, and to use these tools to explore correlations with therapeutic efficacy and other patient outcomes. Through responses to this RFP, the AMC hopes to incorporate, in an exploratory fashion, novel assays that may reflect the activity of an agent of interest on a specific biologic endpoint. If the results are found to be reproducible and to change consistently with therapy, such assays may be a useful way to screen novel agents in the future, and monitor patients in later phase trials.
