The uploaded documentation is connected to this information. This is a follow up Sources Sought and request for Industry Comment synopsis amendment. This is a search for potential sources that could and would operate a vehicle operations and maintenance contract. The contract will have as a minimum a six (6) month base period to begin 1 Apr 01 and expire on 30 Sep 01. The contract will be written with the potential for 8 (eight) 6 (six) month option periods with the total contract not to exceeding 54 months. A follow-on contract may not be available past the base period as this requirement is included in the A-76 study to be contracted out. A solicitation is not presently available; however, the Statement of Need (SON) is presented for industry comment. There are several technical exhibits (TE) attached also. TE 7 is not attached at this time, but will be available. The missing TE is a governmental vehicle master list. We request for industry comment to be completed on the questionnaire attached. Please include any additional comments that would be beneficial. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 4173. To qualify as a small business concern, gross revenues cannot exceed an average of $5 million for the last three fiscal years. In the event sufficient numbers of small business concerns do not respond to this synopsis, this requirement may be awarded on an unrestricted basis. Therefore, all interested parties should respond to this notice. There are several attachments for the Statement of Need. Verbal communications will not be considered. Interested parties should submit written response to the address shown above within 7 calendar days from the date of this notice, or not later than COB 29 Nov 00. Facsimile responses are allowed.
