Description

Telephone request will not be acknowledged. The United States Department of Agriculture intends to fabricate and install interpretive exhibits into an existing visitor center located adjacent to the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers J. Strom Thurmond Lake in Clark Hill, South Carolina. The work required includes the fabrication of museum quality indoor and outdoor exhibits for a visitor center approximately 1,320 sq. ft.-interior and 1,161 sq. ft.-exterior: including but not limited to scale models, interactive exhibit elements, object displays, graphics, audiovisual equipment, photo murals, flooring surfaces, exhibits lighting, electrical work, aquaria and all items necessary to complete the work as indicated on the Design Intent Drawings and describe in the Specifications. The fabrication and installation schedule will allow 4.5 months in total from the contract award to completion of installation. A fee of $50.00 is required for a single copy of the blueprints and written specifications along with the solicitation package. Make check, money order or draft payable to the U.S. Department of Treasury, please write IFB number on the remittals. The contract is subject to the service contract act and place of performance is unknown. The Wage Determination has been requested for the Washington-Baltimore Metropolitan Area, upon request, the CO will request Wage Determination for additional localities if asked to do so in writing by December 12, 2000.
