Description

The Officer in Charge requires all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, safety and management necessary to fulfil the requirement of task orders issued by the contracting officer for minor maintenance construction, repair and alterations work. Work to be accomplished by means of an Indenfinite Quantity type contract. The contract term is for a period of one (1) year. The Government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract services for an additional two twelve month periods. The total contract shall not exceed 36 months. Plans and specification shall be available on or about 01 March 2001. The North American Industry Classification is: 233320. The proposed procurement listed herein has been accepted by the Small Business Administration for competition in the 8(a) program. It is being offered for competition ONLY to eligible 8(a) concerns. Eligible 8(a) firms are encouraged to participate. The resulting contract will be performed under a Firm-Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity Type Contract. The project will be solicited by use of Best Value Source Selection, with the requirements for a Technical and Price Proposal. Requirements on the submission of offeror's Technical and Price proposal will be further published in a modification to this CBD announcement at a later date. The solicitation for this requirement will be available only from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) Web Site (http://esol.navfac.navy.mil) on or before 01 March 2001.
