Description

Item 0001: Air handling unit designed to provide heating/cooling/ventilation during ships overhaul.The system shall be constructed to operate outdoors year-round in harsh New England environment. It shall be a rigid portable system weighing not more than 3500 pounds and capable of being moved frequently by fork lift or overhead crane; Qty 1 Each. Item 0002: Optional Air handler unit same form/fit/function as item 0001. option to be exercised within 1 year from the date of contract award; Qty 1 Each. This is a solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. This announcement is issued as N00102-Q-1037 and incorporates provisions and clauses effective through Federal Acquisition circular 97-20. the standard industrial classification (333415). This acqusition is reserved for Small Business, however the quota's size status may affect entitlement to award in the case of a tie. Place of delivery is Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth NH.
