Announcement of TCRP Research Allocations for FY 2001 The Transit Development Corporation's Board of Directors met in Washington, D.C., on October 26-27, 2000, and selected the following new projects for the Transit Cooperative Research Program in fiscal year 2000: A-25, Fare Policies, Structures, and Technologies; B-24, Toolkit for Coordinated Community Planning and Implementation of Rural Transit Systems; G-6, Performance Indicators and Productivity Measures for the New Millennium; H-27, Transit-Oriented Joint Development: State of the Practice, Future Benefits; H-28, Uses of Archived AVL-APC Data to Improve Transit Planning and Productivity; H-29, A New Paradigm for Transportation: A Collaborative Vision of Mobility. Preliminary scopes of work for each project are available on the Internet at http://www4.nationalacademies.org/trb/crp.nsf under "Anticipated Projects." Project Statements inviting proposals will be available at the same Internet site beginning around March 2001. You may register electronically at the same site for notification of project statement postings.
