Description

Contractor to provide professional medical and primary care services for the Surgical Services Department primarily through management of the surgical clinic. Contractor will provide general surgical services as well as comprehensive medical evaluation and treatment of incarcerated patients. Contractor to provide written or dictated reports for exams or procedures performed. Schedule, weekly, 20 hours per week, days to be determined based on institutional needs. Contractor to have Missouri Medical License, experience in Surgical/Orthopedic and Oncology Services. Must have significant experience in providing medical care and oversight for patients in a correctional environment. Must have extensive experience in adult male primary care with an emphasis on surgical/orthopedic/oncology management and treatment. Must have significant experience with the surgical aspects of renal dialysis patients. Anticipated period of performance January 1, 2001, to June 30, 2001. RFQ issue date 12/13/00. Penal institution.
