Description
The Nashville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking an organization to conduct, validate and analyze an employee organizational survey. The questionaire to be used is already in existence and may need to be modified. The results will be shared with all employees and district management and will be utilized to identify and retain beneficial programs, respond to employee concerns, and assess how to best plan for the future. It is the intention of the District to have this be a statistically valid survey. A complete analysis of all data gathered from this survey and compared to results of one previous survey will be required. The District is looking for maximum employee participation. If possible, we would like for respondents to be able to fill out the questionnaire (e-mail or hardcopy) in less than 30 minutes plus additional time to add individual comments. Individual survey responses will be kept strictly confidential. The respondent's signature will be optional. Information about gender, age, grade, and District office or field work station will be requested to determine if any specific segment of the organization needs special attention. The previous survey asked repondents to rate each question on a scale of 1-5, with 1 being equivalent to strongly disagree with the statement and 5 being strongly agree. This format will be continued. The following are issues which the survey addresses: The work environment in the Nashville District: Factors that affect employee morale: Awards system (performance, honorary, special act, etc.): How do employees see the Nashville District overall?: What areas are doing well?: What areas are improvement opportunities?: Organizational satisfaction: (How do I feel about the Corps of Engineers?): Job Satisfaction: (How do I fell about my job?): Supervisor: (My direct supervisor): District Leadership: (Policy makers): Efficiency and Effectiveness: Total Engineering Quality (TEQ): (How do I feel about TEQ, Process Action Teams and Quality Meetings?): Performance Evaluations: Physical Work Environment: Morale: Communications: Pay and Promotion Opportunities: and Training.
