Description

Furnish one deHavilland DHC-6, or equal, fully contractor operated and maintained fixed wing aircraft. The aircraft is to be used by the Minerals Management Service in support of bowhead whale surveys in the Beaufort Sea in offshore Alaska. Use period will be 52 days with a possible extension of 10 days. The term of this contract will be one year with options to renew for three years. Designated base is Anchorage Alaska; aerial surveys will be based out of Deadhorse, Alaska. Contractor will be required to be certificated under 14 CFR, Chapter 135, Air Taxi Operators and Commercial Operators. Startup shall commence in late August 2001.
