Description

The purpose of this notice is to notify interested parties that the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, plans to issue on a sole source basis a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to place a class of orders for the duration of three years with Northrop Grumman Corporation-Ryan Aeronautical Center, 17066 Goldentop Road, San Diego, CA for the Vertical Take-off and Landing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV) program which is currently under development. These orders will consist of engineering and technical studies for pre-planned product improvements; investigative potential system changes; and field support to analyze system performance for demonstrations. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may identify their technical capabilities and may submit information that shall be considered by the Naval Air Systems Command. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed agreement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
