Description

This is a notification of sole source procurement for Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Ca. The Marine Corps intends to procure a sole source contract with Vericor Power Systems for the purchase of 2 each Electronic Test Sets, TF40B, Vericor P/n LTCT29060-01. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. No solicitation is available. The proposed contract action is for an item for which the Government intends to solicit with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting information. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offers are due by 4PM (PST) on 11 December 2000 and may be sent by mail. Offers sent via the U.S. Postal Service should be mailed to the Contracting Office, USMC, PO Box 1609, Oceanside, Ca. 92055. Federal Express should be sent to Contracting Division, Bldg. 22180, MCB, Camp Pendleton, Ca. 92055. All offers not sent through the U.S. Postal Service will be considered to be hand carried and direct delivered. Hand carried offers must be delivered to Building 22180, MCB, Camp Pendleton, Ca. Direct delivery of offers is only possible during weekdays, excluding federal holidays, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Offers may also be submitted via facsimile number (760)725-8445 or (760)725-4346, to the attention of Judy Vinzant, Contract Specialist.
