Description
Air Combat Command is serving as the lead MAJCOM in purchasing Air Control Squadron courseware development and training for ACC. The period of performance will cover a one-year base period with four, one-year options. This contract may include up to three years in additional performance under award term incentive criteria. The place of performance is currently Luke AFB, AZ. The government may include additional performance to include Distance Learning electronically broadcast to other sites. The government expects to make award on or about 1 Jun 01, with a performance start date of 1 Oct 01. This action will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) on or about 7 Feb 00. All applicable solicitation documents including the RFP and Draft RFP, will be released via the FedBizOpps web site (http://eps.gov). Draft RFP documents will be posted on FedBizOpps starting on or about 19 Dec 00. Interested parties should review these documents and provide any comments via e-mail to this office. The Air Force will consider and respond to all input received. Industry response is encouraged to ensure all parties have maximum opportunity to participate in this acquisition. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies will not be made available. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 611512. The government seeks industry input to determine if this acquisition should be a total set-aside under the auspice of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19. Interested small businesses who can perform at least 51 percent of the work required and are certified and qualified as a small business concern in NAICS 611512 are encouraged to respond and submit their notification to this office NLT COB on 20 Dec 00. Responding small businesses may later be required to submit a capabilities package outlining their capabilities in key areas as determined by the government and relevant to this requirement_s performance.
