DESC: 1005-01-475-4296, Part Number 12556953, This requirement is for 4,000 Short Barrels for the M249 Machine Gun, and is restricted to FN Herstal, Voi de Liege 33, B404 Herstal, Belgium and FN Manufacturing Inc., 797 Clemson Road, Rock Island, IL 61299-7630. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. Published for subcontracting purposes only. No Technical data package or drawings are available. The proposed contract will not include an option. FOB is Origin. Estimated issue date is 15 December 2000. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
