Description

This procurement is for the acquisition of Long Lead Items for Stinger Vehicle Universal Launchers (SVUL) and SVUL spares in support of the FMS customers' Avenger Weapon Systems. The SVUL replaces the Standard Vehicle Mounted Launcher (SVML), the STINGER missile launcher used to date on the AVENGER and Bradley Linebacker platforms. Acquisition for this procurement is restricted to the approved source(s), Justification for Other Than full and Open Competition is FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". Approved source is Raytheon Missiles Systems, 1151 East Hermans Road, Tucson, AZ 85734, and should be contacted for any subcontract possibilities. (See Note Number 22).!!
