Description: See numbered Notes 9 and 26. NSN 2815-00-679-8053 -- Camshaft, engine assembly (left bank). Used on Continental Motors Model AVDS-1790 diesel engine. The item is being procured in accordance with a source controlled drawing (19207) 8761280 (and all other referenced specifications and drawings). Solicitation is for a quantity of 96 each to be shipped to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 and includes a 100% option which may or may not be exercised by the Government. Required delivery is 300 days. The soliitation will be available on the web after 12/21/00 "http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp". A wirtten quote is required to be returned to the address in block 8 of the RFP by the date and time specified. DIBBS quotes are not acceptable. This is an unrestricted requirement and all responsible offers will be considered. The source controlled drawings are also available on the above web cite or by Faxing (614)692-2998 or calling (614)692-2344. Requests for drawings should include the RFP number, closing date, and buyer name and number. Both Automated Best Value System (ABVS) and Delivery Evaluation Factor (DEF) apply to this solicitation. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of factors as described in Section M of the solicitation.
