Description

NSN: 340800X005145. CNC multifunction 4-axis horizontal machining center with automatic tool changer, automatic pallet shuttle and chip conveyor. Tool changer shall accommodate 100 tools. Pallet size shall be minimum size of 31.5" x 31.5". Travels shall be as follows: X: 47", Y: 47", Z: 35.4" minimum. B axis shall be contouring and positioning at least 360,000 positions. Spindle HP shall be at least 40 HP. Tool holder size shall be #50 taper. Quantity: 1 ea. This will be a firm fixed price contract with delivery 360 days from date of award. All deliveries FOB Destination to Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. This is unrestricted. Approximate issue date is 18 DEC 00 with opening date 30 days from issue.
