Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DE-RQ-65-01-WE-55493 and is being issued as a Request for Quotations. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. This procurement is set aside for small business, NAICS 421310 with a size standard of 500 employees. An award will be issued from this solicitation, via the issuance of a firm-fixed-price simplified acquisition order(s). Items are required to be delivered, FOB Destination to Havre, MT 59501, Glendive, MT 59330, and Fort Peck, MT 59223 as noted on each line item. Delivery accepted Monday -- Thursday 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. A 48 hour delivery notification is required by contacting Holly Kittleson at 406-526-8516. Self unloading trucks are required for delivery of wood poles. Gov'ts required delivery is 05 March 2001 for Havre and 09 April 2001 for Fort Peck and Glendive. Specifications for the wood poles and crossarms, treated with copper napthenate, can be accessed at the web site listed below. Requests for faxed copies of drawings (6) shall be obtained by faxing 406-526-8500 or emailed to kittles@wapa.gov. Gained and Ungained wood poles are to be drilled in accordance with drawing 41-6106. Gaining Details are in Drawing SK-101299 for some of the poles delivered to Havre, MT. The requirement is for thirty-one line items (CLIN 1 -- CLIN 31) as noted in parenthesis. UNGAINED wood poles delivered to Glendive, MT are: (CLIN 1) 5 each of 45 FT Ungained wood poles, (CLIN 2) 5 each of 60 FT Ungained wood poles, (CLIN 3) 40 each of 65 FT Ungained wood poles, (CLIN 4) 10 each of 70 FT Ungained wood pole, (CLIN 5) 5 each of 80 FT Ungained wood pole, and (CLIN 6) 3 each of 85 FT Ungained wood pole. UNGAINED wood poles delivered to Havre, MT are: (CLIN 7) 2 each of 70 FT Ungained wood poles, (CLIN 8) 10 each of 65 FT Ungained wood poles, (CLIN 9) 11 each of 60 FT Ungained wood poles, (CLIN 10) 5 each of 55 FT Ungained wood pole, (CLIN 11) 4 each of 50 FT Ungained wood pole. GAINED wood poles, per drawing SK-101299, delivered to Havre, MT are: (CLIN 12) 2 each of 75 Ft Gained wood pole, (CLIN 13) 12 each of 70 FT Gained wood pole, (CLIN 14) 46 each of 65 FT Gained wood pole, (CLIN 15) 56 each of 60 FT Gained wood pole, (CLIN 16) 2 each of 55 FT Gained wood pole, and (CLIN 17) 2 each of 50 FT Gained wood pole,. UNGAINED wood poles delivered to Fort Peck, MT are: (CLIN 18) 7 each of 45 FT Ungained wood poles, (CLIN 19) 8 each of 50 FT Ungained wood poles (CLIN 20) 14 each of 55 FT Ungained wood poles, (CLIN 21) 7 each of 60 FT Ungained wood poles, (CLIN 22) 10 each of 65 FT Ungained wood poles, (CLIN 23) 5 each of 70 FT Ungained wood poles, (CLIN 24) 5 each of 75 FT Ungained wood poles, and (CLIN 25) 3 each of 95 FT Ungained wood poles. Knot restrictions apply as outlined in Drawing No. 40-D-5145 for the following crossarms. Crossarms delivered to Glendive, MT are: (CLIN 26) 50 each wood crossarms, solid sawn, 2 5/8" x 9 1/2" x 25', with 4" spacing per drawing 40-D-3633 and (CLIN 27) 50 each wood crossarms, solid sawn, 2 5/8" x 9 1/2" x 25', NOT drilled. Crossarms delivered to Havre, MT are (CLIN 28) 120 each wood crossarms, solid sawn, 2 5/8" x 9 1/2" x 25', with 6" spacing per drawing 40-D-4325. Crossarms delivered to Fort Peck, MT are: (CLIN 29) 14 each of wood crossarms, solid sawn, 2 5/8" x 9 1/2" x 25', with 6" spacing, per drawing 40-D-4325; (CLIN 30) 25 each 2 5/8" x 9 1/2" x 25', with 4" spacing per drawing 40-D-3633; and (CLIN 31) wood crossarms, solid sawn 4" x 5" x 10' per drawing 40-D-4291. The quotation, along with completed representations and certifications, is due by 4:30 MST on 19 December 2000. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial (Oct 2000) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with its quotation. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
