Description

Purchase of Small Tower Voice Switch (STVS) and Associated Items. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (DTCG81-01Q-3TM014) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. FAR clauses and provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. This RFQ is being solicitated unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334290/750. The STVS and Associated Items listed are manufactured by Litton Advanced Systems, Gaithersburg, MD for a specified Small Tower Voice Switch (STVS) to be used for the purpose of replacing an antiquated and unreliable system. Offerors proposing an "equal" shall accompany their RFQ with Descriptive Literature for the system that's being quoted. No consideration will be given to quotes lacking this information. Item Desription as follows: Qty. 1 ea. Litton Denro STVS; Associated Items: One(1) STVS, 4 position w/Battery Backup; One(1) Factory acceptance Test; One(1) Installation Services; One(1) E01 -- SII ATP; One(1) PBX Phone Interface; One(1) 4-Wire Phone Interface; Two(2) SS1 Phone Interface; Two(2) ASU Phone Interface; Six(6) Radio Interface; Four(4) Handset (noise cancelling); Four(4) Headset (10 foot cord); Four(4) Microphones; One(1) Training (OJT Maintenance); One(1) Training (OJT Operator); One(1) E02 -- Site Survey & Report; One(1) Basic Spares; One(1) Reimbursement of Travel Expenses in Accordance with Joint Federal Travel Regulations (JFTR). This is a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. Acceptance: Destination. F.O.B: Destination. Delivery to: CG Suprtcen Elizabeth City, Bldg. 981, Elizabeth City, NC 27909-5009. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions that applies to this RFQ: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercail Items (Oct 1999), 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999). Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsive, responsible offeror. Price, Technical Capability and Past Performance Factors will be used to evaluate quotes. All RFQ's shall be accompanied by Descriptive Literature that meets the specifications of equipment being quoted. 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Oct 2000) shall be completed and returned with RFQ, and 52.214-21, Descriptive Literature (Apr 1984). Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses that applies to this RFQ: 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (May 1999), 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Aug 2000) applies as follows: paragraph (b)(5), (7), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (17), and (24). In compliance with the said clause, the following additional FAR Clause 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998) as part of and apply to this RFQ: 52.232-8, Discount for Prompt Payment (May 1997).
