Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-R-0013 is hereby issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) on a Sole-Source basis to Communication Solutions Inc, P.O. Box 43550, 10552 Philadelphia Road, Baltimore Maryland 21236. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 and DCN 20001025. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334290 and the size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 This CLIN shall consist of the following parts to upgrade the CS-2752 Microwave Receiver System and the CS-2755 Digitizer Display: CS-2752-02, 40-60 GHz Millimeter-wave Down-Converter with options -- 4c Pre-Amplifier Horn Antenna, quantity 2 EA; CS-2752-05, 60 80 GHz Millimeter-wave Down-Converter with options -- Horn Antenna, quantity 2 EA; CS-2752-06, 80 100 GHz Millimeter-wave Down-Converter with options -- Horn Antenna, quantity 2 EA; CS-2752-07, 100 110 GHz Millimeter-wave Down-Converter with options -- Horn Antenna, quantity 2 EA; Harmonizing System, Includes Test and Integration of system, .5 110 GHz; Packaging of third attach case, quantity 2 EA. Delivery is required F.O.B. ITT INDUSTRIES, SUITE 200, 141 NATIONAL BUSINESS PARKWAY, ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION MD 20701 1026, ATTN EAGLE PROGRAM MANAGER, PHONE 301-497-9900, within 180 days after award. Final inspection will be at Source. Selection for award will be based upon award to responsible contractor whose prices can be determined fair and reasonable. Offers that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
