Description

This CBD announcement is a notice that TriCare regions 6, 7, and 8, which includes all Medical treatment facilities in the states of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Colorado, Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, Idaho, Oklahoma, New Mexico, North/South Dakota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming are in the standardization process for the product line Endoscopic Laparoscopy Instrumentation. The requirements are as follows: The instrumentation must be safe, durable(at least 400 stainless steel or better) re-sterilizable, and have insulated and non-insulated capabilities. The supplier must carry a full product line. Instrumentation must be able to be mechanically cleaned and sterilized in conventional equipment containers, and by a variety of sterilization methods(ie, steam, ETO and/or chemical sterilization) Electrosurgical equipment must function with a variety of manufacturer's electrosurgical generators(ie, Valleylab, RE Wolf, Stryker, etc.) , and must include multiple plug adapters as required by each facility.. This is not a Request for Proposal, the purpose of the sources sought notice is to seek commercial sources that will meet the US Government requirements. Suppliers must be DAPA holders and will be required to conduct clinical trials/provide clinical samples at no cost to the government.
