Description

(i) The Naval Inventory Control Point intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with CYRA Technologies for CYRAX 2500 3-D Laser Imaging System. This requirement includes 3D laser Scanner with A/C module, Cyclone Software -- SCAN module, two bateries with integrated charger, Scanner tripod, Battery and PC Cables, Shipping Cases, warranty, 1 ea., warranty on batteries, cables, and tripod, Cyclone software -- MODEL Module with support, 1 ea, Cyrax 2500 with extended warranty for scanner, power supply, charger, and SCAN s/w, 2 ea, One year Cyclone software -- MODEL Module software technical support and software updates, 3 ea, Scan registration targets, 1 ea, Four days of Cyrax training at OAHU for six people. Customer to provide computers and facility, travel expense breakdown, Maximum 32 hours on-site assistance and training on clients first project in Oahu, travel expense breakdown, and shipping costs. The Standard Industrial is Classification Code 7373. The Government intends to procure equipment for delivery to Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard located in Hawaii. (ii) The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requriement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination of the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered competitive procurement.
