Description
This is a sole source requirement to Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Orlando FL, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This modification to the previous CBD announcement is for the following: (a) extended period of performance and revised statement of work for Engineering Services, data and applicable travel/per diem to provide system integration test support to integrate LANTIRN pods into the new F-16 Block 52+ C/D fighter aircraft, and (b) add additional, in scope tasks to the requirement. Written solicitation. No telephone requests. Solicitation issue date: approx 15 Dec 2000. Only written or faxed (912-926-7530) requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/contracting officer identified above for additional information and/or to communicate any concerns regarding this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals.
