J-The purpose of this amendment is to add the following item to this urgent requirement for aviation maintenance and overhaul: NOUN: Turbine Engine T700-GE-700, UH-60 INPUT/OUTPUT NSN: 2840-01-070-1003 INPUT/OUTPUT P/N: 6035T00G01 QTY: 70 General Electric and Sabreliner have been determined to be the only known sources that can meet the Government's critical schedule. The required production schedule is as follows: Input of assets (to include GFE/GFP) by the Government is 90 days (T700-GE-700) and 60 days (T700-GE-701 & 701C) after contract award. Output of assets by the contractor(s) is 120 days after receipt of assets at a rate of 3 each per month (T700-GE-700 and T700-GE-701C) and 90 days after receipt of assets at a rate of 5 per month (T700-GE- 701). Due to urgency, we intend to release the solicitation immediately and do not intend to allow a 30-day period for receipt of proposals. Proven sources who can meet this critical requirement are advised to contact the contracting officer immediately. Any sources who have not successfully performed this effort within the past three years will require a Product Verification Audit which may result in a source's ability to meet the critical schedule for this effort. All responsible sources may submit an offer that may be considered by the Agency. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds.
