Description

The Marshall Space Flight Center will be hosting a Spring Technology Expo on Thursday, March 29, 2001. This event is promoted to all 7,000 MSFC employees whose mission is to research and develop rockets, engines, space-based laboratories, orbiting telescopes and innovative science and technology. This is one of NASA's largest facilities and it manages about 3 billion dollars year in NASA projects. Engineers and scientists make up two-thirds of the workforce. The following is an example of the requested technologies: Networking, Lab Equipment, Project Management Software, Presentation Systems, COTS, Engineering Services, Real Time Applications, Office Automation, Imaging, Internet, ATM, WAN/LANS, Workstations, Security -- Firewalls, Network Cards, VTC, and Presentation Systems.
