Hurlburt Field Air Force Base will be hosting an ON-SITE Technology Expo on Wednesday, April 25, 2001. This event will be promoted to over 7,900 military and civilian personnel, including the following tenant groups: 16th Operations Support Squadron, 16th Equipment Maintenance Squadron, 16th Civil Engineering Squadron, 16th Communications Squadron, 18thFlight Test Squadron, and more! 14 VIPs and over 275 personnel from Hurlburt Field AFB attended our last expo here in June 2000! We are expecting another spectacular turnout!!! Home of the Air Force Special operations and the 16th Special Operations Wing, the Air Force Base also manages a fleet of more than 60 Special operations aircraft and serves as a training and educational site for Air Force special operations for worldwide deployment and assignment to regional unified command for conducting unconventional warfare, direct action, special reconnaissance, counter-terrorism, and counter narcotics. Some technologies of interest for this event include: Plotters, Internet, Intranet, Laptops, Storage Management, Color Printers, Laser Printers, LAN, WAN, Deployable Equipment, DOE, Spreadsheets, CD-ROM, Notebooks and more!
