Description
This is a commercial item acquisition, issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are requested, a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. RFQ 786-16-01, is dated November 30, 2000, and issued as a request for quotations. The provisions and clauses contained in this solicitation are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Circular 97-19. This solicitation is issued using full and open competition. This is a total (100%) small business set-aside. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 561720 and a size standard of $12.0 million is applicable. Quotations are requested from all responsible small business concerns. Contractor is to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies for janitorial services at Fort Harrison National Cemetery. Period of performance shall be January 1, 2001, through December 31, 2001, (base year) with four option years to extend the term of the contract through December 31, 2005. List of Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) is as follows: Base Period: CLIN 001 -- Semiweekly (Tues/Thurs) cleaning of lodge, to include vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, dust mopping wood floors, damp mopping kitchen and entrance areas, cleaning all glass doors, sanitizing bathroom, and replenishing paper supplies from cemetery stock -- Quantity 12 months; CLIN 002 -- Biannual (October/May) cleaning of carpets, windows and drapes in the cemetery office -- Quantity 2 jobs. Option Year One is as follows: CLIN 101 -- Semiweekly cleaning of lodge -- Quantity 12 months; and CLIN 102 -- Biannual cleaning of cemetery office -- Quantity 2 jobs. Option Year Two is as follows: CLIN 201 -- Semiweekly cleaning of lodge -- Quantity 12 months; and CLIN 202 -- Biannual cleaning of cemetery office -- Quantity 2 jobs. Option Year Three is as follows: CLIN 301 -- Semiweekly cleaning of lodge -- Quantity 12 months; and CLIN 302 -- Biannual cleaning of cemetery office -- Quantity 2 jobs. Option Year Four is as follows: CLIN 401 -- Semiweekly cleaning of lodge -- Quantity 12 months; and CLIN 402 -- Biannual cleaning of cemetery office -- Quantity 2 jobs. All CLINS are to be delivered, f.o.b. destination, within consignee's premises, to Fort Harrison National Cemetery, 9620 Varina Road, Richmond, VA 23231. This contract will serve as the contractual vehicle for janitorial services.
