Description

Solicitation to be issued for a basic Indefinite Quantity Contract for rental of chiller units in which delivery orders will be placed to rent equipment over a twelve month period. The anticipated contract period will be from 1/5/01 through 1/5/02 with possible two option years. The quantities are estimated totals. Estimated weeks the first year is 150 weeks. Dates, quantities, duration and locations will vary. Quantities required at one time will vary from 1 each to 8 each. Deliveries to be to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, NH; Subbase Nlon, Groton, CT; Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Norfolk, VA. Contracts must be centrally contract registered to be eligible for award. Solicitations will be available on the web at www.neco.navy.mil by 12/6/00. Contractors may go to this website to download the solicitation. This acquisition is not reserved for a small business set aside.
