- Description
- The work includes furnishin all parts, labor and material and equipment necessary to remove induction units and associated components in patient rooms of floors 4ABCD, 9ABCD, and 11 CD and replace them with new air handling units at each affected wing and VAV boxes at each patient room. The estimated cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS and small business size standard is 233320 -- $17.0 Million. Bidding materials will be restricted to one set per contractor and will be on a "first come, first serve basis". A total of 30 sets of bidding materials will be available. A non-refundable amount of $100.00 for bidding materials is required in the form of a company check, cashiers check or money order. No personnel check will be accepted. All checks shall be made payble to the VA Medical Center, Miami, Fl. Solicitations may be picked up from the issuing office or requested in writing on company letterhea, indicating company name, point of contact, mailing address, telephone, FAX number and e-mail address. Solicitation issue date is December 19, 2001. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for January 4, 2001, time and place to be announced. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference is strongly recommended, but is not mandatory. Offers must be received Close of Business January 17, 2001.
