Description

Idenfinite Delivery Indefinite-Quantity Contract to perform Paving construction services at the Elm Fork Project Office and Lake Lavon; including Lakes; Lewisville, Grapevine, Ray Roberts, and Lavon, Texas. Work will consist of but not limited to providing contract forces to perform the paving construction services required to operate and maintain a dam, lake related recreational facilities, and appurtenances at Lewisville, Grapevine, Ray Roberts and Lavon Lakes. Contractor's work and responsibilities shall include, but shall not be limited to, all job planning, programming, scheduling, administration, and management necessary to assure that work is accomplished in accordance with this contract, all applicable laws, municipal codes, regulations and/or written directives issued by the Contracting Officer and/or his authorized representative of the Elm Fork Project Office. The contract duration is for 5 years, base plus 4 option years. Work will consist of preparation of raw subgrade, road shoulder repair, new base course (in place), scarifying and reshaping base course, portland cement treated materials (road mix), lime stabilized subgrade (6"), one course surface treatment, two course surface treatment, hot mix asphalt (type C), hot mix ashpalt (type D), bituminous tack coat, bituminous prime coat, pavement patching, sealing joints and cracks in pavement. Cost Range: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled to issue on or about 15 December 2000, and the bid opening date will be on or about 17 January 2001. Duration of contract is 1 year with 4 option periods. Offers from all qualified small business concerns are solicited. SIC code for this project is 1611. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 23411, which corresponds to SIC Code 1611. The size standard is $27.5 million. The Government intends to issue this solicitation and all amendments through the use of the Internet. No additional media (CD ROMS, Floppy Disks, Faxes, or paper) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary.
