Description

This is a modification to the synopsis submission no. 5075h5 done on 28 Nov 00 for solicitation number sp0480-01-R-0896. Defense Supply Center Richmond is now issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for a sole-source commercial item within the F404 engine family anticipated to result in a FOB ORIGIN firm fixed price delivery order against a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA)-Note 22. Solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)Subpart 12.603 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are hereby requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request For Proposal (RFP) is now=SP0480-01-R-0896. The offeror shall provide a response no later than 2:00 PM, local time, 12 December 00. Facsimiles should be sent to 804-279-5546. If OEM-owned tooling/forging/castings are required in order to supply any item listed in this solicitation, offeror must provide, as part of their offer, written proof that they have the right to use OEM-owned tooling/forgings/casting in the manufacture of these items. Anyone wishing to submit a technical data package must provide a complete package by 2:00 PM, local time, 12 December 00 for evaluation as an alternate offer in accordance with the products offered clause, 52.217-9002 (L54). Item was also listed previously on NAVICP solicitation (N00383-00-R-9999 to result in a LTC)but due to increasing urgent backorders will be utilized for the time being under this solicitation as a firm qty buy for nsn 2840-01-394-9254, nozzle segment, general electric co., cage 99207, p/n 6084t09g01 ,qty requested now: 1503 ea, other than full and open competition, and unrestricted. Specification, plans or drawings not available and cannot be furnished by the government. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12.
