Description

The VA Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, with Chester-Jensen Co., Inc., for the purchase of cooker-cooler, pump fill station, air agitated ice builder, and air cooled outdoor condensing unit for the advanced meal delivery system project. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received not later than 4:00PM, December 20, 2000.
