Description

Procurement of Conductivity, Temperature and Depth Systems (CTD) Consisting of the following: Fourteen (14) each SEACAT PROFILER Pumped Conductivity, Temperature and Depth Recorder includes SBE 5M submersible pump, 2.5 meter data I/O cable, SEASOFT software, and one set of documentation. Fourteen (14) each 600 meter housing, 9-cell. Fourteen (14) each 1000 psia (680 m) strain gauge pressure sensor. Fourteen (14) each 1024 byte memory. Fourteen (14)each 4 single- ended A/D channels, (0-5 v input range). Fourteen (14) each Conductivity range 0-9 S/m. Fourteen (14) each protective cage for dual transmissometers (includes mounting clamps). Fourteen (14)each SPARE submersible PUMP, 10,500 m titanium housing. Fourteen (14) each config. for use with SBE (continuous duty). Fourteen (14)each SeaSoft CTD software. These specific CTD's are required to ensure the same levels of compatibility with existing systems. A firm fixed price supply type contract will be awarded. The standard Industry Code is 3825, and the applicable size standard is 500 employees. This notice of intent by the Government will be issued on a sole source basis to Seabird Electronics, Inc., 1808 136th Place NE, Bellevue, WA 98005, since proper operation of the CTD's is dependent upon interfacing with presently installed systems.
