Description

The US Army TACOM-ARDEC is seeking potential sources that can submit a sample product suitable for Weapons Lubricating Applications. These sample products must be commercially available products to be tested by the Government with the objective of establishing a new qualified products list in support of Revision E to MIL-PRF-63460, Lubricant, Cleaner and Preservative for Weapons and Weapons Systems (CLP). All interested firms shall submit their sample product at no cost to the Government. Applications for qualification of sample products must be submitted no later than 17 January 2001 to US Army TACOM- ARDEC, ATTN: Mr. Paul Tremblay, AMSTA-AR-QAW-E, Bldg. 12, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000 or email to tremblay@pica.army.mil. If there are any technical questions, the point of contact is Mr. Paul Tremblay at (973) 724- 6671. This is a market survey for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the US Government. The US Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information solicited. The US Army in developing a new Qualified Products List will only use the sample product.
