Description

Light Duty and Heavy Duty Transmission Line Steel Pole Structures for the United States Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (Western), for its Corporate Service Office (CSO) located in Lakewood, Colorado; the Rocky Mountain Regional Office (RMR) located in Loveland, Colorado; The Upper Great Plains Regional Office (UGP) located in Huron, South Dakota; and the Desert Southwest Regional Office (DSR) located in Phoenix, Arizona. Delivery of poles may be to the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, New Mexico, Utah and North Dakota. Multiple contracts may be awarded for the base year with four additional one-year options for each awarded contract. Estimated award date is on or about April 1, 2001. Individual delivery orders will be issued against a contract. Western will be issuing a Request for Proposal for the steel pole structures. RFP DE-RP65-00WA16726 will be issued o/a 12/18/00. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This acquisition is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 331221 and the size standard is 1,000 employees.
