- Description
- The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC intends to award a sole source follow-on contract, using Alpha Contracting, to Armtec Defense Products Company, Coachella, CA to execute an engineering program to optimize the raw material ingredients and manufacturing process of 81MM and 120MM mortar increment containers to increase Mortar Increment Container (MIC) physical strength and minimize "soft spots". Contract to be completed 9 months after date of award. This sole source effort is based on substantial duplication of cost, see numbered Note 22.
