Description

Ten (10) light duty helicopters, Type III (5-8 seats, 1200-2499 lbs card weight capacity) (FAR Part 135) Certification Required. Primary use for fire fighting nationwide. Aircraft will be based at the following locations: (1) Rolla, MO, estimated contract period from March 1, 2001 to April 14, 2001; Park Falls, WI, estimated contract period from April 15, 2001 to May 29, 2001; and Krassel Work Station 38 miles east of McCall, ID, estimated contract period from June 19, 2001 to September 26, 2001. (2) Bridgeport, CA, estimated contract period from June 13, 2001 to September 30, 2001. (3) Pocatello Airport -- Pocatello, ID, estimated contract period from June 20, 2001 to October 17, 2001. (4A) Challis Municipal Airport -- Challis, ID, estimated contract period June 3, 2001 to September 30, 2001. (4B) Indianola Helibase -- North Fork, ID, estimated contract period June 3, 2001 to September 30, 2001. (4C) Moyer Helibase -- Salmon, ID, estimated contract period June 3, 2001 to September 30, 2001. (4D) Yankee Fork Helibase -- Clayton, ID, estimated contract period June 3, 2001 to September 30, 2001. (5) Dutch John Helibase -- Vernal UT, estimated contract period June 14, 2001 to September 21, 2001. (6) Tell City, IN, estimated contract period March 1, 2001 to April 14, 2001; Mio, MI, estimated contract period April 15, 2001 to May 29, 2001; Friedman Airport -- Hailey, ID, estimated availability period June 20, 2001 to September 27, 2001. (7) Provo, UT, estimated contract period June 15, 2001 to October 12, 2001. Contract duration for all locations is for one year from date of award plus two (2) one-year renewal periods.
