- Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform drydock repairs including but not limited to the following Base and Option items: BASE ITEMS: (1) Clean, Inspect, and Preserve Diesel Fuel, (2) Renew Bulwark Structure (3) Erect Mast Staging (4) Renew Shaft Staging (5) Inspect Shaft Covering (6) Install Ball Check Valves, (7) Repair Sounding Tubes, (8) Overhaul Fuel Tank Root Valves, (9) Overhaul and Test Fuel Manifold, (10) Hydro-statically Test Hot Water Storage and Hydro-Pneumactic Tanks, (11) Remove, Inspect and Reinstall Rudder Assemblies, (12) Renew Lower Seal Retainers Rings, (12) Overhaul Warping Capstan Assembly, (13) Inspect and Preserve Talon Grid, (14) Preserve Chain Locker, (15) Preserve Ballast Space Bilges, (15) Preserve Underwater Body, (16) Renew Cathodic Protection System, Provide Temporary Logistics, (17) Routine Drydocking, and (18) GFP report in accordance with solicitation Section H. OPTION ITEMS: (1) Welding Repairs, (2) Renew Waster Pieces, (3) Overhaul Anchor and Anchor Chains, (4) Preserve Underwater Body, (5) Ultrasonic Testing, (6) Provide Additional Temporary Logistics. The Vessel's homeport is Cape Canaveral, Fl. Vessel length is 210 Foot Medium Endurance Cutter. Vessel's minimum depth of water is 15 feet and height clearance of 88 feet. Vessel's availability is for Forty Seven (47) days, starting 23 April 2001. All reference documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA 23510-9102. A non-refundable charge of $150.00 is required, in the form of certified check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard, for requested drawings. Drawings are now available on CD Rom. The CD Rom sets are available for all cutters and will be free of charge to contractors upon request. This procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All Businesses, large and small, are encouraged to submit bids for the subject requirements. Plans and specifications will be issued on or about December 18, 2000. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. "ATTENTION: MINORITY, WOMEN-OWNED, AND DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES (DBES). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
