Description

The VA Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, with Commercial Kitcheneering for the installation of equipment for the advanced meal delivery system project. Commercial Kitcheneering is the supplier of the equipment previously furnished for the advanced meal delivery system project, and the VA has determined that it would be beneficial to have one experienced reliable installer for all the equipment necessary for the advanced meal delivery system project. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received no later than 4:00PM, December 19, 2000.
