Description

The Internal Revenue Services has a requirement for an individual to provide consulting services as an Executive Tax Forms & Publications (TFP) consultant for the Tax Form Publication Modernization Team. The Executive TFP consultant shall work in partnership with Booz, Allen & Hamilton (BAH) and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) to apply standard Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) work processes, produce quality ELC products, and oversee successful development of ELC milestone artifacts. The Exective TFP consultant shall be responsible for (1) Evaluating the team deliverables and providing written comments as necessary; (2) Ensuring compliance with ELC format and content; (3) Ensuring content and quality of the deliverables (adequacy, completeness, consistency, correctness); (4) Ensuring consistency with technical work plans and deliverables; (5) Attend and/or present executive briefings; and (6) Attend executive level and contractors meetings. The consultant shall possess extensive executive-level knowledge of IRS operations, in the Taxpayer Service and Compliance area. Experience in IRS Headquaters Operations, with Multimedia and Tax Forms and Publications knowledge is also required. The contractor shall work primarily in the greater Washington, DC Metreopolitan area. Primary post of duty will be Riverdale, Maryland 20737. Period of performance shall be December 18, 2000, through June 15, 2001. All responsible sources who can provide the above requirements shall submit written quotations no later than 15 days from the posted date of this announcement. No solicitations will be issued, therefore such requests for solicitations will be considered non responsive. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Evaluation/award will be based on price and other factors. All quotes shall include price(s); FOB point; a POC (name and telephone number); GSA contract number if applicable; business size and payment terms.
