Description

The Base Grounds Maintenance requirement consists of mowing/trimming grass, edging sidewalks and pavement edges, removal of crack grass, maintaining/pruning trees/shrubs/hedges, removing/planting trees and shrubs, policing of grounds, maintaining playgrounds and planter beds, and removal of leaf & tree debris. Additional services, if funding is available, include installation/maintenance of irrigation systems, minor landscaping projects, and removal of crack grass on airfield. The resulting contract will consist of one (1) base period and four (4) option periods. This will be a 100% small business set aside. NAICS Code is 56173. The solicitation will be issued on or about 10 January 2001.
